Train Track Entrance and Picture Opportunity

At the entrance of your home, make train tracks using black or brown cardboard cut into 'timbers' and duct tape as the rails. You can make it as long or as short as you need. We placed it on our front stoop greeting guests as the came to the door. We also thought to cut train car shapes into large pieces of plywood and painted them to look like train cars. Make window cut-outs in the engine and caboose and make the middle cars short enough so the kids can stand behind and peep out over the top. Take pictures with a polaroid and send home with the kids. Or, take pictures with a regular camera and send pictures in your child's thank you notes.
