My son loves choo-choo trains. We decided to throw a train theme birthday party for him when he turns 3. I did not know about the TrainParty.com website. First I checked all the local stores including Party City. But I was only able to find a few items. Then I went online, did Google on "train party" and that's how I found the TrainParty.com website. Here is how we celebrated our 3 year old son's birthday: We got two "Thomas The Tank Deluxe Pack" - perfect for a party of 16 kids. I also ordered the train pinata with some extra balloons. We sent the invitations to all of his friends. I stamped the invitations that said: Front: All Aboard! Inside: We are having a train party! Engineer: little John, Train Station: The Hopkins depot Arrival: date and time Please contact Mary/Mike to reserve your seat. Mike had some train sound and music CD's which added great fun to our party. Our cake was very simple with a train locomotive made out of sugar and little bit of forest scene. Our baker bordered the cake with railroad tracks with colored icing. It looked great. Thomas Pinata was the most enjoyable part of our birthday party. Kids like the idea of bashing the Pinata until it breaks releasing its contents. Great fun for children of all ages. I recommend it. I stamped the thank you notes with CHOO-CHOO THANK YOU on front with the personal message inside. Every child went home happy with a Thomas goodie bag and a balloon of their choice that had a Thomas picture on it.
