Party Game: Coal Bucket Brigade
By: Laurie S. Location: Brockville, ON
You will need two small children's plastic pails, and a "bucket full of balled up aluminium foil. (Coal) Have the children form two lines, side by side. At the whistle sound, the first person in each line (train) passes his bucket over his head to the person behind. The person behind passes the bucket between his legs to the person behind who then passes it to the person behind him over his head. If any of the coal spills from the bucket, it has to go to the front of the train and start over. This continues till the last person in line receives the bucket then he races to the front of the line and starts the process all over. When all of the children have had a turn at being at the front of the train they all sit down to signal that they are finished. The first team to sit wins.
